Equitoraze started from a simple frustration: most tools that promise to help retail investors and side-hustlers make smarter decisions never show their work. Where we started
Equitoraze was founded by a small team of Canadian builders who were personally frustrated by the gap between polished investment apps and the actual quality of the guidance behind them. We wanted a tool we would use ourselves — one that treated our time and money with the same scrutiny we'd expect from a professional advisor, but priced and designed for people managing a side hustle or a modest portfolio alongside a day job.
That starting point shaped everything that followed: a product built around transparency first, features second. Rather than optimizing for flashy dashboards, we optimized for a public log that lets anyone check whether our recommendations actually held up.
